Home? for the holidays

This holiday season may bring up even more anxiety and distress. Join us for a collective space to receive support and be in community with others as we talk about coping skills and boundaries. Anyone is welcome, and these spaces will center LGBTQIA+ experiences. This is a free event.

When: Thursday, November 21 5:30p-7p EST and/or Thursday, December 19 6p-7:30p EST

Where: virtual via Zoom

Please note that this is a community event being facilitated by Jennifer Bullock M.S. LPCC-S, LMHC. While this group will contain therapeutic material, this event is not a substitute for consistent individual and/or group therapy. Any questions or concerns should be communicated to Jenny.

Just like a moon passes through many phases, so do we! While many of these phases can be dark and scary, other phases can also be full of light and joy. The role I play as a therapist is to accompany you through all the emotions & experiences that will come your way. I strive to balance both the acceptance of the many phases we go through, alongside actively working to change what we need to.

What’s with the moon theme?

β€œThe Moon can only fill up once it becomes empty. And it can only shine in all its glory once it’s gone through its darkest expression. It doesn’t berate its darkness or wish for it to be any other way (as far as we know).”
