FRequently asked questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I believe that mental healthcare should be accessible to everyone & I’m always actively trying to find more ways to reduce the barriers people face. Currently, I accept Aetna (Ohio and Indiana), UHC (Ohio only), Anthem (Ohio and Indiana), & Cigna (Ohio and Indiana). I’m also a member of the Open Path Psychotherapy Collective for those who qualify.
For those interested in self-pay, my 50-minute intake rate is $180 and my 50-minute individual therapy rate is $140.
What is therapy like with you?
I try my best to not be “just your average therapist” (although I do wear a lot of cardigans). From the wild colors of my hair, to the fact that I’ll always watch the TikTok you want to show me, I believe that the relationship between a therapist and client is sacred. While I have training and knowledge in mental health, you are the expert of your own life. Together, we’ll work as a team to reach your goals!
Can we meet virtually?
Yes! I am licensed in both Ohio and Indiana, so as long as you’re located in either state at the time of our appointment, we can meet using a HIPAA-compliant platform.
Can I eat in session?
Yes, PLEASE do! Many of my clients meet during their lunch breaks or after school, so I encourage you to bring a snack/meal (or grab a snack in our waiting room!) and nourish your body as you nourish your mind.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I kindly ask that you inform me at least 24 hours in advance if you’re unable to make an appointment, otherwise you’ll be charged the full session fee.
Where’s your office?
My office is at 10925 Reed Hartman Highway Suite 307 Cincinnati, OH 45242. This document gives detailed directions to my office.
